If you have time or skills to donate to Historic Stagville, please contact the site staff at info@stagville.org or call 919-620-0120 (Tues-Sat, 9am-5pm).
Join the Board
Board members* are expected to attend one meeting a month—currently the 2nd Tuesday of the month, from 6pm – 7:15 pm, in Durham. At each meeting, the site staff give a monthly report, and the Board votes on upcoming projects and spending.
*In accordance with the Foundation’s fundraising mission, each Board member is expected to make a financial commitment as they are able, and to volunteer at fundraising events, usually held once per year. Board members are considered ambassadors of Stagville and are charged with representing Stagville in the local community and across the state. Once appointed, each Board member serves a term of 3 years, with the possibility of renewal. Contact the Board Chair Michael Williams at info@stagville.org if you are interested.
